Based on the assessment and individual needs, a specific amount of testosterone is injected intramuscularly.
Dressings include an occlusive dressing which should stay on for 3 days. There is usually no bleeding and only minimal post-procedure discomfort. Usually, I will include a testosterone “booster” at the time of the procedure to expedite onset of action.
This procedure takes about 10 and requires no downtime with this procedure. Most patients begin to feel the effects of treatment relatively quickly.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shapiro for Botox for over 15 years. Before I found him, I’ve been to a variety of spas and doctors and was never quite satisfied with the results. Dr Shapiro took the time to listen to my areas of concern and has been consistently providing me with excellent results. My face looks natural, I can still make all the silly expressions I want, yet the wrinkles and fine lines are gone. As a plastic surgeon and an ENT, Dr Shapiro really is the best!
